E465 Retro Diamond Earrings - Very unique Diamond earrings with projections at the bottom that "wiggle". Set in unmarked Silver, 35 rose cut Diamonds make these really glitter. The overall design includes swirls, eye-shapes, circles - a pretty complex design. The three pieces that dangle off the ear are segmented, so they're not completely stiff. The backs of these earrings are also unusual. They have posts for pierced ears but also clips that fit over the posts. I think these were intended both to act as safety against loss and to keep the earrings hanging the way they should. I'd date these to the 1940's. Personally, the longer I look at them, the more interesting they become. STOLEN
